I am a small town Iowa farm boy. I worked in the fields from the age of 13 years old until graduation from high school in 1979 at the age of 17. After graduation I attended the University of Iowa but couldn’t find my way so I joined the Army for over 10 years of my life and became a Desert Storm Veteran. I trained on how to be a Non-Commissioned Officer. To this day I still carry the NCO Creed with me and appreciate the similarities it shares with our Lambda Creed. Sigma Lambda Beta gave me the fellowship I missed from the military. I am a proud member of Alpha chapter as of July 17th, 2000, the Alpha Alumni Association and the Military Alumni Network.
