BACKGROUND

We believe in the principles of fairness, opportunity and in the equality of all men no matter what race, cultural or ethnicity. Our biggest goal is to see that all of society can realize the importance of these principles. In order to achieve these goals we all strive to model these behaviors and present ourselves in a gentlemanly and educated fashion.

Brotherhood
Brothers of the Sigma Lambda Beta pride themselves in creating a family oriented atmosphere at the campus of the University of Central Florida.

Scholarship
Academic success and higher education are some of the main goals driving Sigma Lambda Beta. We have a high percentage of graduate members and post-bachelorate degrees.

Cultural Awareness
Emphasis is placed on making cultural awareness present on campus. Some of the more popular event carried out by brothers in the past are: El Dia De Los Muertos, Cinco De Mayo and Puerto Rican Day Parade to name a few.

Community Service
Sigma Lambda Beta always strives to give back to the community.
