The Salon De Hermandad was created in February of 2000 in Chicago, Illinois. The purpose was to recognize Brothers of Sigma Lambda Beta that have made a significant impact and contributions to foster the growth and development of the organization. It was intended to recognize the efforts of the individual for demonstrating commitment to the organization beyond the usual standards within the brotherhood. It is the highest award a brother of Sigma Lambda Beta can receive.
